Discover nature as close and as intense as possible!

There are lovely hiking trails on the farm varying from a 40 min sundowner-walk to a 3,5 hour hike up our mountains into our stunning Oskloof and to our mountain spring. You will enjoy view points and pick-nick places along the trail and can discover the beautiful and versatile vegetation of the Biedouw Valley. For those who want to make a full day hike there is an extremely nice hike to the top of Krakadouw Mountain closeby.

Spring Flowers in Biedouw Valley

From July till September the Biedouw Valley is covered in spring flowers and guests come from all over the world to witness this spectacle of nature.

Mountain biking

Many of our guests bring their mountain bike along and cycle up our jeep track into our impressive Oskloof and enjoy the view far over the Karoo or they brave the trip to Wupperthal with a scenic route through the Tra Tra Valley and a steep descend into the little missionary village. In Wupperthal you can see how the traditional "feldskoene" and other leather shoes are still made by hand and refresh in nice rock pools. As a nice alternative to the steep Wupperthal cycle route you can explore our beautiful Biedouw Valley into the other direction for about 24 km till you hit the Doring River bed which is filled with water from about April till January.

Swimming and Paddleing

Our Spring fed swimming dam is filled with water all year round and invites for a swim. Our guests can relax on wooden decks around the dam on sunbeds and on sunny days a little pool on its side is filled with warm water which is great for kids or to enjoy your sundowner. The Biedouw River has water from about April till mid January and is wonderful to swim and play in. There are paddle skis and a paddle boat at a natural dam on the farm for our guests to use as well.

Kids love bottle feed our lambs during lambing season. Our cats, dogs and horses love the attention of our guests, if big or small, and will most likely pay you a visit.
The evenings and nights on Enjo invite you to admire the breathtaking Cederberg night-sky. As the mountains block off all lights from the towns we have hardly any light-pollution out here and the stars are unbelievable bright and clear.

Not only for rainy days we have converted one of the horse stables into a games room with Pool Table, Dartboard and board games for the young and the old.

Rocklands in Cederberg Mountain Range

There is a nice 4x4 route on one of our neighbouring farms and also our short jeep track can be driven by the adventurers. The Sevilla Rock Art Trail with its many Bushman paintings and the roibos tea production in the Biedouw Valley are more attractions in the area. Rocklands, the world known climbing area on and around Pakhuis Pass is also close by.
